Hiii, I’m Salena! I can be pretty introverted and quiet at first, but once I warm up, I’m super talkative and outgoing :D I’d say my main trait is being artsy and creative. I love anything that lets me express that, like journaling, watercoloring, sketching, and taking photos. I absolutely love simple hangouts. Getting food or treats (especially anywhere in Center City or Chinatown) with friends and loved ones is my favorite, but I’m always down to try new things too!

The two things I love most in the world are learning literally anything and filling my schedule with insurmountable amounts of events and hobbies until I physically cannot anymore. My friends keep telling me to do less and take a break even as I write this but I never listen. Professionally, I have experience in agentic AI applications, machine learning engineering, algorithm design, and Linux. My work recently includes signal processing & optimization (co-op), ML identification of autism based on fMRI data (research), and speed-of-thought filesystem navigation (personal).

Just a fellow college student trying to survive through midterms and has learned a thing or two by taking on new side quests to grow in unexpected ways.

I’m basically an engineer who refuses to pick one lane — I design things, automate workflows, and somehow end up pitching startup ideas between lab sessions. I love solving problems that blend tech, business, and creativity — from building AI toys to optimizing real logistics systems. I’m the kind of person who gets equally excited about a new product concept and a good spreadsheet. If there’s a challenge worth tackling (or a company worth building), I’m probably there with a whiteboard, caffeine, and way too many ideas.
